5K & 10K
8:30AM Start Time
- 9 age categories for 5K & 10K - 14 & Under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79 & 80+
- Runners’ refreshment table of bagels, fruit & yogurt
- Locker room facilities
- Split timers and water tables
- T-shirts to the first 250 runners while supplies last
- Medals to the top 3 finishers in each age category and overall

This 1.25 mile course is perfect for walkers of all ages with activities, entertainment and fun prizes throughout the route.

Have fun with your whole family and support cancer survivors! Set up your own fundraising page to email to your friends, family and co-workers. Make it easy for them to donate on our secure donation website.

Each individual who raises $75 will receive a t-shirt (while supplies last).

LIVESTRONG at the YMCA

In 2008, the YMCA partnered with the LIVESTRONG® Foundation to help cancer survivors begin the journey toward recovery with the LIVESTRONG at the YMCA program. Part of the Y’s commitment to strengthening community through healthy living, the program offers adults affected by cancer a safe, supportive environment to participate in physical & social activities focused on strengthening the whole person.

LIVESTRONG at the YMCA is a FREE 12 week small group exercise and support program delivered by specially trained staff that is designed to help those affected by cancer maintain & rebuild strength, endurance and function. While focusing on regaining physical strength and stamina, the program helps heal the whole person offering emotional support and a caring community. A free 3 month YMCA family membership is included with the program, as well as a pass for a supporter of the participant to join them in their fitness activities.

The Wallingford Family YMCA is proud to offer this program free of charge. We can do this because of your generous support.
